Helping service users towards independence.
Established as a residential care home in 1984, our goal at Elm Park Lodge is to help and support service users to maximise their potential. We deliver high quality, effective pathways of care that help service users work towards independent living.
Our goal is simple
A modern approach
Our philosophy is one of empowerment and inclusion from the day a service user is admitted to our service. Service users are involved in the planning of their rehabilitation programme and actively encouraged to exercise choice in the decisions that effect their lives.
Our accommodation
Situated in a leafy part of Finchley Central, Elm Park Lodge is a large detached Victorian property, equipped with three communal lounges and a conservatory. A spacious kitchen and dining area encourages social dining and is the ideal space to facilitate the cooking groups. A large garden is host to the gardening group, where produce is grown and used in our kitchen for the service users.
The patio area is a favourite in the warmer months for BBQs and social gatherings. All the bedrooms are designed for comfort and relaxation and can be personalised by the service user to suit the individuals taste and preference.
Two well equipped independent flats are situated next to the main building, offering support to service users moving through their journey to recovery.
There is excellent access to public transport and a wide range of amenities all within walking distance of the property.
Elm Park Lodge can accommodate 27 adults of either sex, experiencing and recovering from a diagnosed mental health issue. The service users are aged between 18 – 65 years of age.
“I would like to tell you how pleased we were at the level of care given to my husband and myself, his main carer, whilst staying at your home on a respite break. The care and respect that Mr Lim and his staff showed John when he arrived overwhelmed us. The staff are so friendly and easy to relate to.”
