I am writing to acknowledge the positive work that you and your staff team have completed over the last few weeks with a number of our clients.

I am aware that Elm Park staff undertook additional visits to engage a client residing at Irvin Point who was experiencing a relapse.  They were clearly very conscientious in their provision of extra support during the crisis. Additionally, Elm Park manager Jo, and her staff team have shown patience and resourcefulness in managing the low mood and incontinence difficulties presented by another client.  I am aware that this has involved proactive intervention to record information, and to try to identify triggers and patterns of behaviour.  The staff members have been creative and diligent in following through an intervention to encourage the client to involve himself in various activities, to improve his well being and quality of life.

As a team, we are all very appreciative of your efforts and I would be grateful if you could pass on our comments to the individual workers involved.
